Lake Forest Showhouse Living Room

This nearly 7,000 square foot new construction home in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood was designed by Vincere down to the finest of details, from the intricate yet understated paneled living room to the extraordinary conservatory breezeway. Creating a modern, yet livable space that proudly displays the homeowners' array of important Indian and contemporary art, Vincere designed the home with an eye toward classical architecture, up-to-the-minute conveniences, and the holistic integration of fine art with comfortable family living.

Asked to design the Main Living Room and Lawn Terrace at the 2023 Lake Forest Showhouse, benefiting the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, Vincere took our inspiration from the classical Georgian symmetry of this expansive room. With a wide range of luxurious materials, including de Gournay silk on the walls, custom-embroidered Holland & Sherry curtains, and a hand-knotted rug by Ariana for the envelope, we filled the walls with important modern and contemporary art, forming a dialogue across eras.
